Proud to Sponsor Congleton Town U8 Girls: Supporting Grassroots Football

At Toucan Telemarketing, we spend a lot of time talking about the importance of real conversations. It’s central to what we do. But it’s also something we think matters outside of work as well,  especially when it comes to the local community. That’s a big part of why we decided to sponsor Congleton Town U8 Girls.

We’ve been based in Congleton since the beginning, and a lot of our team still live locally. It’s something that connects quite closely to where we are and the people around us. If you’ve ever watched an Under 8s game, you’ll know it’s not really about results. It’s a mix of energy, learning, a bit of chaos at times, and a lot of enjoyment. That’s exactly how it should be. At that age, it’s about building confidence, getting involved, and just being part of something.

And that’s where clubs like Congleton Town FC Juniors come in. They create that environment. It’s structured, but still relaxed enough that players can develop in their own way. The focus on encouraging girls into football early on is something we really value as well. From our side, the sponsorship is fairly simple. It helps support the team and hopefully makes things a bit easier, whether that’s through kit or just giving the players something they can feel proud to wear. It’s a small contribution in the grand scheme of things, but still a meaningful one.

There’s also something nice about seeing your name linked to something positive locally. It brings things a bit closer to home, especially when you know people directly connected to the club. We’ll be keeping an eye on how the team gets on over the season and wish them the best of luck. It’s worth noting that none of this happens without the coaches, volunteers and parents involved. The time and effort that goes in behind the scenes is easy to overlook, but it’s what keeps everything running. We’re glad to be able to play a small part in supporting that within the community.
